Humm allows you to pay for your dental treatment in monthly instalments.
There are different payment plans which can be chosen depending on the amount you plan to spend. Treatments below €500 are interest free and can be paid back in 5 fortnightly or 3 monthly payments. For larger treatments you can spend up to €30,000 and can pay it back over 6 years.

Once you have a treatment plan for your chosen treatment they will help you select the Humm plan that suits your budget and you can even pay the amount back early with no penalties.
How does it work?
When you receive your Shields treatment plan, you can decide if you will need a payment plan. To be eligible for Humm financing you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide proof of PPS number & address
- Be an Irish citizen or permanent resident of Ireland
- Earn a minimum taxable income of €1,000 per month
- Have a current credit/debit card and a photo ID
- Have a good credit history
There is an upfront fee of €40 for the application, a monthly account keeping fee (dependent on your plan) and interest per month after your interest free period is over will be applicable depending on your bespoke plan.
